TERMS & CONDITIONS


The terms and conditions for renting one of Treefield Villas are given below.  They will be included as an appendix to the booking form.

Please review this rental agreement and ensure it accurately reflects your rental needs.

Bookings are complete once the Booking Form has been filled out and returned by you, the appropriate deposit has been paid and the booking has been confirmed in writing to you.

The person who signs the Booking Form agrees to the Terms & Conditions on behalf of all persons included on the Booking Form, including those substituted or added with our agreement at a later date. The person signing the form must be 21 years or over.

A rental deposit of £300 / $400 must accompany the booking, which is non-returnable. The balance must be paid two months prior to the commencement of the holiday.

If you wish to cancel please let me know by email. The cancellation fees are:

·         More than 2 months' notice: the rental deposit

·         Less than 2 months' notice: 100% of the rental charge.

In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control mean that we need to cancel the rental agreement, we reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time and will only be liable to refund monies already paid by you.

Check-in time is 4.00pm or later.  Check-out time is 10.00am or earlier.  If you need to get in earlier or leave later please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

A refundable security damage deposit of £200 / $250 is required for all bookings (£300 / $350 for Treefield Retreat). Upon your departure the property is inspected for loss or damage in excess of normal wear and tear. The security deposit will be returned within 21 days provided that no such damage or loss is reported by the management company.

Directions to the property and instructions for access will be sent shortly before your departure.

You agree:

·         to report any damage or loss immediately to Treefield Villa’s management company (“the mgt co”)

·         to pay the full cost of any breakages, losses or damage to the property as determined by the mgt co

·         to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay

·         to allow the mgt co reasonable access to the property to carry out maintenance if necessary

·         not to turn the air conditioning unit to its lowest setting, as this could cause it to freeze – if it is necessary to call out an engineer to correct the problem £100/$150 callout fee would apply

·         not to sublet or share the property except with persons nominated on the Booking Form, without our prior agreement

·         not to exceed the maximum occupancy as in the situation the booking is cancelled without refund

·         not to partake in any illegal or immoral act during your stay.

No liability is accepted by us for:

·         loss of mains services or failure of facilities, nor for the consequences of the actions or omissions of persons who may control supply of mains service, nor any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which we have no control.

·         injury, damage or loss caused by any reason or for any claim made as a result of this booking, including use of the swimming pool (you are reminded to observe the safety rules listed in the welcome pack and on the pool deck).

·         failure to take out adequate insurance policies to cover all risks.  We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance immediately.

·         injury, damage or loss caused, or for any such claim by a third party as a consequence of actions by your party during the period of the rental.

I have reviewed and agree with the Terms & Conditions set out above on behalf of all members of our party.  

I have read the page on the Treefield website "What to expect", and asked any questions if anything is unclear.

I understand I will need to take the arrival information with me (supplied shortly before my stay)  to gain access to the villa.
